I work closely with clients and stakeholders, and work across all aspects of software development including conceptualization, design, architecture, implementation, deployment, maintenance, and user support. I manage a small software development team which builds specialized web applications for a variety of purposes including decision-making support, scientific analysis, and science communication. My role involves hiring and supervising team members, creating project budgets and timelines, working closely with clients and stakeholders, managing projects through their lifecycles, providing technical leadership and direction, and participating in the development process.

USDA Conservation Reserve Program
Led the architecture, design, and development of an application to serve a variety of users involved in the largest private conservation program in the U.S. Worked with Conservation Biology Institute staff and external stakeholders to identify user needs and implement solutions to meet them.
SiteCheck
Led the design and development of an application created for the state of California to accelerate the development of affordable housing by helping users navigate streamlining options under the California Environmental Quality Act. Implemented key mapping functionality allowing for real-time, criteria-based filtering of land parcels.
